I bought these to replace some I had. My old ones had leather on top and bottom with with silver bit sandwiched between. I loved them. I've only tried these once. They do help but not sure if they are better than my old ones. Anything that keeps my freezing cold feet warm is a real boost.
Not too thick and help to keep my feet warm. They are quite narrow so if buying again I would go up several sizes and cut down to get more width. They cut wasily.
