Applying Your Actimove Arthritis Compression Gloves

To find out how to correctly apply your Actimove Arthritis Gloves, take a look at the application video below:

How Do Arthritis Gloves Relieve Pain?

Aching and cold fingers and hands are often due to a lack of circulation through your joints, which is something Actimove Arthritis Gloves are designed to enhance. By providing medical compression over the surface of your hands from your wrists to your fingers, these gloves will help to stimulate blood flow. This will help to providing a constant pain-relieving effect, and will also help your hands to stay warm.

How Compressive Are Actimove Arthritis Gloves?

Actimove Arthritis Gloves are designed to fit snug to the palm and at the mid-point of the fingers in order to speed-up healing by increasing blood flow to the area. The feeling of compression indicates you are benefitting from the increased blood flow to your hands.

How Should Actimove Arthritis Gloves Feel?

If you have correctly sized yourself using our table above, you should find that your Actimove Gloves provide a compressive fit and are harder to remove than a standard pair of gloves. This is because compression gloves are designed to gently squeeze the hand, providing a snug fit to promote healing and rehabilitation.

Removing Your Actimove Gloves Correctly

Due to their compressive nature, please take care when removing your Actimove Gloves. To remove properly, simply undo the wrist strap, loosen the glove at the thumb and push the fabric up at the base of the palm in order to free your fingers.

When Can I Wear Actimove Compression Gloves?

These gloves provide the hands with relief while still allowing a great deal of movement, so they won't be a hindrance when worn during all your daily activities. You can wear these gloves while writing, cooking, typing and more, making them an ideal solution for those with painful hands and fingers who are looking to get on with their day.

Actimove Arthritis Gloves can be used throughout the day

How Comfortable Are Actimove Gloves for Arthritis?

Besides the pain and arthritis relief these gloves provide, they're also exceptionally comfortable to wear due to the soft and premium materials used. Actimove's neoprene-free performance material is designed to move with your hands while providing compression, and is extremely breathable to prevent your hands sweating when you wear the gloves for long hours throughout the day.

Relief from Tingling and Numbness

If you suffer with tingling fingertips or chronically cold hands, wearing standard gloves will not provide the necessary compression to encourage blood flow to the area. Actimove Arthritis Gloves are designed to gently hug the hand, encouraging warm blood to the area, relieving the user from cold, numb and tingling sensations associated with a range of nasty conditions.

How Durable Are Actimove Arthritis Gloves?

As these gloves are designed for general wear throughout the day rather than during a specific task, they're designed to stand up to the regular wear and tear that hours of use can cause. The outside seams are reinforced, helping to prevent them from fraying when brushing up against a table, chair or appliance.

Do Actimove Arthritis Gloves Contain Latex or Neoprene?

No, these arthritis and Raynaud's gloves are completely latex and neoprene free. As these two materials are often associated with skin irritation, this makes the gloves particularly suitable for those with sensitive skin.

A bit too tight
31 October 2021  |  Jane

Bought these as I suffer from Raynauds and arthritis and thought they would help as they would be snug against my hands but I find them too difficult to get on and off as they are so tight, would advise if thinking of purchasing them to buy a size bigger than normal for ease of use
